Hi peeps. It's been a very long time since I posted here, due in part to the pandemic and not getting out to fix the old gal.

Anyway, my quest this summer is to get her back on the road. I connected up the iCarsoft today and checked for codes and the only one (except the battery being low voltage) was the Air suspension. I had figured, as it had slowly become a low rider, that the air had leaked out and without the battery in the car the compressor wouldn't kick in. Nevertheless, I connected a battery to it and got the following code:

C1885 - Rear height sensor open or short circuit to ground.

If anyone can give me some idea as to where to begin my investigation, I would really appreciate the leg up.

I'm a bit late! However the signal on the right rear sensor is not getting to the control module. Could be sensor, connector or wiring. Go to pinpoint test G256924p19 in the workshop manual. it gives you the sequence to test for the short or open.
