Default Airbag Flash Code 22

My experiences with this problem are described here;
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e-22-a-202062/
It was the drivers seat bolster airbag that was causing the flash code.
After thinking I'd solved it a couple of times it came back again, the final time it came back some months later.

Recently I had both front seats out to fit aftermarket heater pads, to fix the drivers seat switch and to free up the drivers seat rear height motor which had jammed at the limit of its travel

So I had the seat out and removed the leather covers and the seat squab and back foam to fit the heater pads.
I again cleaned the electrical connector at the bolster airbag using contact cleaner which had solved my problem for a good period of time before.

When I was putting the seat foam back in position after fitting the heater pad I noticed that the seat foam was pressing ever so slightly against the bottom of the connector at the base of the bolster airbag. When getting in and out of the car you rub against the seat bolster at this location, therefore pressing the foam against the airbag connector.
Hey, I thought to myself maybe this is why this problem keeps coming back.

The foam is shaped to go around the airbag but I cut out a bit more foam so that however much you pushed against the bolster it didn't impact on the airbag connector at all.
So all back together and seats back, no airbag flash code.
So time will tell whether encroachment of the seat foam when getting in and out of the car is the reason why fault keeps coming back and whether I've finally got to the bottom of this.

So if anybody else has this code you can get at the connector with the seat in place by removing the rear panel and pulling back the seat cover (see my thread above). While you're there cleaning the connector check out the foam and pull a bit more out around the connector at the bottom of the bolster airbag where the connector is.
