Default almost there with 2011 XJL supercharged

Today was a good day for Jag riding. I gave back the loaner XF and picked up my XJL supercharged today in Tampa. The 3 hr drive back was wonderful. The knocking sound in roof is gone. The Sirius sat radio is working so I got to listen to uninterrupted Jazz the whole way back. All the "squawks" are taken care of except for one of the illuminated door sills does not illuminate. Apparently Jaguar got a bad batch of those and has to go to a different manufacturer. Anyhow, we're back cruising and it feels good !

Wonderful! I have an appointment with my dealer on Wednesday to address the roof knock. I did speak with your service manager, Jim Tackett, and he was very helpful--my dealer also had finally gotten some information from Jaguar (yes, this is a known problem) and Jim will have his tech talk to their tech to exchange ideas since they have already fixed 3 of these.

Great to hear the Jag guys are working together .... It does seem that one will get good service if you are willing to "extract" it ...now just waiting on a sill ...
