The question is "On Average, how much does it cost per year to keep an X-350 in excellent driver condition for 7 years?" (If you do 70% of your own work)

I am preparing to sell my beloved Super V8 after 7 years of ownership (see the listing on "Marketplace" above) This has given me a reason to sit down and add up all the receipts. The total is near enough to $18,000. Keep in mind there were years where very little was needed and there were years where $7000 was needed.

Looking back, It was worth every penny.

A bit steeper than mine's been! In 5 years I'm out less than $4000, and that's for coilovers, headliner, new driver's seat leather, and my cooling system overhaul. That's fixes and repairs, but not counting regular maintenance like oil changes.
