The car is a one owner with 43000 miles and it looks it. All service done at dealer.
Although I've seen large swings in book values before but in this case the Kelley Blue Book Value is thousands more then the NADA. Nada is just under 20000 and Kelley is over 34000 private party value!
Any help, experiences, or opinions here are much appreciated. I'm excited about this car but I don't want to do anything stupid.
BTW...it has the TV screens on the head rests which as a used car buyer worry the heck out of me. :-)
Thanks all.

If as you describe from the lowest to somewhere in the middle $20,000 to $25,000. I also have the screens in my car and don't see a problem with them. You do have to be careful that folks getting into the rear of the car don't hang on the headrests to help to get themselves seated.
Appreciate the input!
When I look at the screens on I see dollar signs flying out of my ears...as when I have to replace one. But then...The dvd system in my other car has been used once in 9 years. The headphones are still in the plastic. :-)
This is a great car with stellar history. I guess I'm a bit hungup when I look at what I can get for the same money in a regular VP...as in a couple years newer.
But then this car will be worth more down the road I'm sure.
It needs the two front shocks and two tires and so far the seller is thinking alot of money..we'll see how it goes.

I can only tell you what i paid from a dealer, for my 05 with 49,000 miles on it - $25,000 and nothing needed at all (ok, it was missing one key); car passed a jaguar inspection prior to purchase, especially asked to evaluate/test the air suspension for weaknesses.

Book values are unreliable for cars that sell at low volume.
However, print out the ones that you *like* and take them with you during negotiation. Ignore the others, although the seller might have those printed out.
Find ads with prices you like, and print those as well.
It's all about presentation and marketablility. Point out that not a lot of people are actually looking for these cars.

i think you're over reacting over the rear screens. they arent any more worry than the rest of the car.
def make sure the car is level and air isnt leaking from the suspension

I live in Utah and am keen on the 2006-2007 Super V8 models so I have been watching the local classifieds (ksl.com -- the go-to free classifieds in Utah). Two or three months ago there were two 2006 Super V8s with 50k-75k miles and the dealer sellers were asking $20k to $22500 for them, if I recall correctly (after a price reduction on one of them). I think these were very good deals, but I didn't look at the cars so I don't know for sure. The pictures looked fantastic, though. I won't be ready to buy till next year, so I didn't check these out or buy, but they were very attractive at that price. They did not last long and I have not seen any other Super V8s locally since then. I guess it was a bit of a fluke for two X350 Super V8s in good condition at very good prices to pop on the market at the same time. Jags are rare here in Utah, which is a bit of a head-scratcher for me since there is a relatively very high proportion of Utahans with British ancestry -- myself included -- and I see plenty of BMWs and Audis (though Mercs are also not too common).
The actual owners on the forum would be much better sources than I for problem issues, etc., but from what I've gathered, expensive things to check for on these cars are air suspension (dampers/springs? being most costly; also air pumps), heater core and valve problems (note the large number of current threads on this problem), the coolant hose under the supercharger, transmission needing reflashes, and headliner deterioration. Also, the cars seem very sensitive to failing batteries.
