Hi all, I'm new here. I've just purchased a xj sovereign 2.7 tdvi 2008 and have the dreaded smoke issue from under the bonnet. Is there a quick easy way to disable it? I havent a clue as to where its located or where the sensor switch is. If anyone could help please.

The quick and easy way is to switch off the Climate Control - top left 'button' on the Climate touch screen, immediately below the word 'Climate'. That will tell you if the smoke is coming from the aux heater. If it continues to smoke then it's something else.
