recently purchased a 2004 XJ8, the car had phone icons on the radio and steering wheel, so I assumed it was bluetooth ready....when I tap the steering wheel button it just mutes the sound system, when I tap the button on the head unit it says "no phone" I called Tampa Jaguar to see if they might have a module to enable bluetooth,,,,,yup THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS, I seriously kid you not. bluetooth would be nice but if I could fully integrate my iPhone, that would be even better...any advice?

Found the same thing, so went with a aftermarket navigation unit. Sony and it needed a custom made faceplate. Works incredibly well, easy to update and great sound quality with my iphone and stock stereo system. $1300 installed by cartoys. Also has a usb port and aux input from any source.
