can you stream music via bluetooth on an x350 xj6 2008 ...theres no aux port to connect any device ... advice welcome

Looks like a very interesting project, something I might be interested in buying in when its ready.

Does your new Bluetooth module replace the Jaguar one and allow the phone to still work?

 

Actually it works with the PSE - you need that to make phone calls. My module is only for music streaming.

 

I've been very happy with veffremov's little box. It does what he says it does - nothing more, nothing less.

 

And when is this little box going to made available to the rest of us poor commoners with no bluetooth connection?

 

You got me there. You either have no cell phone or your cell is more than 10 years old, which is impressive if it's working still.

 

If you have no bluetooth, your best bet is to get an ACM or a FM Modulator put in.

 

The 09 Portfolio XJ said in its press release it had an "upgraded bluetooth" that allowed up to 5 phones to be paired at once. Do you know if that particular year/model will allow A2DP (Bluetooth streaming)?

 

I don't think the 2009 allows for bluetooth streaming.
