Brake Pedal Feel

Brake Pedal Feel
Can anyone tell me that if their pedal does this,(or give it a try and let me know)..
After coming to a stop the pedal can be pushed (all be it with a fair amount of pressure) close to the floor?
The brakes stop well, with good feel...but, I am still a little peturbed by this. New rotors, new pads, and all looks good visually,no fluid loss, all componets looking good.
The pedal does retain position and pressure after full stop ( unlike a failed master cyl) but will keep lowering with a good push after a full stop.It never seems to get rock solid till close to the floor yet brakes always apply after just a little stroke and will come to full stop at about mid point of travel, but you can then keep pushing on down if you apply a fair amount of pressure
New master is on and multiple bleeds do not seem to improve much.I know these pedals are always a little soft on feel but I don't remember it doing this, then again maybe I never tried to push it so hard as I am now that I am sensitized.
If no one else here can experience this then I am thinking air somewhere or a manufacture fault in the master cylinder that was just installed.Could anything else cause this?
Sorry to labour the issue but I am a long way from a dealer.
Thanks.

My X300 does the same thing.
The softer, dropping pedal is a common thing on ABS equipped cars, broadly speaking. I don't think I've ever driven an ABS equipped car that had the "rock hard" pedal of older, non-ABS cars.
I'm not syaing there *isn't* a fault with yours but don't judge that based on the absence of a rock hard pedal.
But I suspect you are sensitized, as you mention. What happens, even to me, is that we suddenly become hyper-aware of the brake pedal after brake repairs are done.
I've played tricks on my own family members to verfiy that this really happens. I'll say that I bled their brakes, although I haven't, and without fail they'll complain that the pedal now feels soft.
Cheers
