Does anyone knows for sure if i can update to 2008-2009 look of XJ VDP if i change front bumper? Are the attachements the same or i will need to change the front fenders too? ( I dont care for chrome side vents) Just want to change the front look.

Yes,

The bumper covers fit. The bumper support brackets need to be changed as well. The X358 covers hang lower at the wheel openings.

You can use the existing support brackets but you will need to fab up a spacer to make up the difference.

I am not certain about the front splash shield under the bumper. Mine was burned when I got the car, could not find a used one so I made my own.

Marker lights are different along with all the plastic inserts that fit in the front cover.

I found that I could purchase a used X358 (08-09) front cover off ebay cheaper than the 05 unit I needed.
