Default Car Cover

I recently moved to a house without a garage, so all the cars sit on the driveway/street. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good-fitting, protective cover? (I have a 2004 XJ8.) I live in Phoenix, so protection from dust and the sun are my main concerns.

I recently bought a Tyvek cover at O'Reillys for our 06 Super V8 that fits the long wheel base pretty well, especially with the mirrors folded. It is a Budge Premier size 4 and I think it was about $55. Tyvek is light and fairly waterproof and dust proof (although it is probably classed as water resistant rather than proof); the cheap gray Budge cover I had before was worthless as water and dirt passed right through the material and the cover just held it on the car's paint.

Hello mhenz!Car cover?Bought one here in the UK,the one recommended by Jaguar. It didnt go cheap (310£,445 USD approx) BUT its an indoor and certainly and outdoor one.Its thick as an elephant skin and i am sure it would resist dust and sun effortless.Cheers!

You have to be really careful with covers used outdoors, because when its windy the cover flaps around and can damage the paint in doing so. Also you do get condensation inside so I never use one for these reasons. A car port or something the car sits inside is much better. There are blow-up things called "Carcoons" that might suit you.
