Default Central Locking Issue

My car has developed a really strange issue this weekend. I removed the front two door cards to repair and redye them. After I put them back on, lock the car, then try to unlock again, all four doors unlock, then lock again within a second. Sometimes it goes back and forth for a few moments while it decides whether it wants to let me in or not. Same thing happens when you open a door from the inside; the rest of the doors will lock again right after. The door cards were pretty straightforward to remove and replace. Could I have screwed up something up?

UPDATE: I determined that the issue was coming from the passenger front door, so I pulled the door card off again, and reconnected everything properly. I realised I had not properly connected the pulling mechanism to the door handle and lock. Put the card back on, and now everything works as it should. Now, if only I could get that damned Boot Open message to disappear.

Replacing the boot lock will probably cure that.

It consists of a small motor and two or three contacts which are integral to the latch.

You're probably right, but the funny thing is that that boot motor has been busted for at least 2 years, and it just barely started giving me sass with this Boot Open message.
