Climate Control faulty
Hi, could anyone advise please? Climate is faulty.
Everything's ok on startup but after half hour or so it goes haywire. Sometimes screen goes off and 'No communication' comes up on touch screen for a few seconds, Fan goes on and off, outside temp sometimes correct but sometimes 0 or -40.
After an hour no fans at all, touchscreen just says No Communication and ambient temp stays at -40.
Guessing faulty module or controller. 2004 Jag x350 XJ6 3.0 petrol RHD (with Satnav). Everything else on touch screen works as it should, tv, radio, phone, satnav etc. Codes are U2518 p2516 b2319 b2315 u1262 b2363. Changed fan controller no difference. Is the external temp sensor in the passenger door mirror like some S-Types? Anyone know for sure where the CCM is located? Some say high up behind the dash, some say lower down on the heater box.
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

If you have the big screen in the center consul on the dash then the CCM is under the glove box take the panel off look up and you’ll see it. If you have a small screen, it is the small screen.
your failure mechanism is bizarre. Never heard of that problem before but I would definitely take the connectors off the CCM and look at them to see if they’re bent pins or corrosion appears to occur after everything is warmed up which kind of leads me to believe it’s a bad connection or maybe a network issue
