Has anyone changed the analog clock illumination bulb? I miss not seeing the time at night. Any diagrams or advice on removing / installing would be extremely helpful.

YEAR AND MODEL PLEASE. There is a download for X350 models' shop manual in this section of the forums. It is in pdf and you have to look something up in the index and note its number i.e. 72.50.03 and then do a search for that.

 

If your handle of 04XJ8 is your model then you can use the X350 shop manual. I took a quick look and didn't find the info, but that doesn't mean that it isn't there.

 

Yes, it's a 2004 XJ8. The manual is the same thing that's in the glove box. It doesn't have any details on replacing dash bulbs. I was hoping somebody had done this before. Thanks for checking!

Not much help I know,mine is out too. I "googled" it and found the procedure,bit tricky though.
Want I would like to do is use an led globe but I can't find what size it is. Any-one know?
