coilovers problem

Default coilovers problem

Hi All
bit of a problem I need to replace a spring on a jag coilover,I have depressed the spring and it has cleared the holder at one end ,but i see 2 collets but i do not know how to get them out can someone please help

Once the spring is compressed, the colletts should just drop out. However, sometimes you have to jiggle them a bit with a screwdriver or suchlike.

they seem to be really stuck fast is there glue or anything in there,

Shouldn't be, but one never knows what the previous guy did ! Try a tap with a hammer and rod.

yes tried that too would heat be any good ?
