Considering a nose job!
Yup, I did it to my 05 immediately after buying it. The road salt must've stayed on it too long with the previous owner and it ate through the front bumper cover...but not the hood, fortunately. I removed myself, disassembled it and transported it sticking out the top of the convertible to my local body shop (top down obviously and on side roads). I saved hundreds on the R&R.

Thanks Seth, appreciate the kind comments.
I'm currently trying my hand at using a DA polishing machine, this is new for me so I'm taking it slow n easy, took a little time and did the bootlid today and got some great results.
I'm hoping to replicate this over the entire car and raise the shine another level or two.
Still a few things on my to do list, but getting there.

I have heard it said before that you should wait at least 60 days before putting wax on new paint. Something about off-gassing. Not sure how true this is, but you may want to do a little research on in before waxing.
It's looking good!

I was a bit confused initially as some videos implied applying pressure but as I re-read the instructions, it said to let the polisher do the work and don't apply pressure. That sped up the work and worked wonders.
Still takes time and patience and best done alcohol free:-)
