Default conti or pirelli

Hi everyone,
I am running a 2004 X350 (XJ6) and wondering if anyone is using the Continental Premium or Sport Contact 5 tyres on their X350 especially in Australia. If so any feedback you can impart would be most gratefully received.
I can't get any Pirelli's as there are none in the country.
Thanks in advance.

I put Continental Extreme Contact tires on my XJ8 last fall and am happy with the ride/handling of the tires. What I'm not happy about is so far 2 of the tires have had to be replaced because of flat spotting or unable to balance. And while the tires were warrantied all the mounting /balancing has not been. I do recommend road force balancing which not only gives you a better balance but can also find a tire that can't be balanced properly. Cary

In what area of Cleveland do you live, who locally do you see for parts, info, & or work? I live in Stow, north of Akron, south of Cleveland, and can always use another source, or share, if i know one.

I live in Kingsville east of Cleveland.Partswise I have gotten the best prices for all the suspension parts that I replaced thru ebay. Luckily other than the suspension parts I have had no other problems needing any other parts....so far....

I just replaced my Pirelli P6 with Michelin Pilot Sport 3+ A/S tires on 19" wheels. The Michelin's are just as comfortable but the dry and wet grip is much better. Have Conti Extreme Contacts on my other 2 cars and can't say enough good things about them. I've had problems in the past with Pirelli, especially with belts separating but the last set on my Fiat 500 Abarth went 25,000 miles without a hitch and were comfortable, gripped well, and were good in the rain. Just wore out to the belts after 25K.
