Default control arms/bushings

So, my jag needs new ball joints and brushings. My question is, does the jaguar x350 share any suspension parts with any other cars? I was looking at a video of a, Lincoln ls control arms being replaced. It's control arms look identical. I'm always looking to save a buck. Also, I understand that these ball joints are said to be irreplaceable, that you must replace the control arm. Can the ball joints be removed?

AFIK the ball joints are not replacable however the front wishbone which has two bushes and a ball joint are the same as the S type but remember they are all handed.

There is a ball joint on the hub which is not replaceable but I never see reports of this joint needing replacment.

The straight control arm on the front suspension is the same as the s type also.

Detailed info here:

If the same as the S-Type then look in the stickies in the UK (yes) site's S-Type forum as they detail which can be changed and with what.
