Hey everyone. I've noticed recently a smell from under the hood of my 2008 jaguar xj8. It very much smells like crayons. I don't remember a smell like that in the past. The only thing I've done since I noticed the smell was replace the maf sensor. I replaced it with a proper Denso so wouldn't think that would be it. It has sat most of the winter and did notice the power steering fluid was a bit low. Could it be a bit of that is leaking and burning off? I've read about other European cars commonly having this smell due to the plastic materials the use but have really seen this for jaguar. Anyone experience this?
