Default CRUISE CONTROL PROBLEM

Had jag replace wiper motor last week now cruise is not working. Before all I did to activate the cruise was hit the set button on the wheel. Is there another button to activate the cruise control besides on the wheel? I assume they disconnect the battery to do the wiper. I do not get the cruise engaged in the display. no other messages come up. I do not beleive my car has ACC?

It was working the morning I dropped the car off for the wiper motor? Any ideas guys?

Did it work when you picked it up or did you just try it now?
I would try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes first. If still no joy then take it back to them and tell them it is not working since they replaced wiper motor.

Picked it up friday eveningand just used cruise this morning on the way to work. It worked the morning I dropped it off.

The diagnostic report for the wiper mote said they tested the wiper switch I assume that the switch on the steering collum.
I wonder if something got messed when they did that.

It is unlikely, but not impossible. Would have to be someone pretty careless working on your car. I would just take it back in and give them the "since ya did this......" speech.

Pull negative cable off battery. Is known as hard reset. Sometimes the electronics glitch. Helps make them smooth again.
Do you have phone in your car now?
If so, all you need is the Bluetooth module. If not, you need about 1500.00 in parts to make it work.
