Help! I keep getting the engine block logo coming up on dash. Car seems to run fine though but a bit worrying.


Also happened on a previous xj358 I had a year back. Seems to coincide with when I put my foot down to open up the engine as I do a lot of pootling about and want to give it a decent blast occasionally.


Any ideas?

 

You will need to get the codes read using mongoose/SDD

You have the option of purchasing a mongoose cable and doing this yourself or paying to have it done by an indy/dealer

Until you know what the codes are you cant get started on fixing the issue

Take it to Autozone and ask to get the codes read for free. That may give you an idea of whats up.
