It works for reading/clearing codes and reading basic live data off our Jags...like RPM and fuel mixture trims. So, yes, it will work for basic diagnostics...just not the higher level programming features.

This is what I bought and am perfectly happy with it for a very small price. As was said, it just reports the simple stuff but at least gives some idea of what's going on.
