It means this car is not fitted with bluetooth. Bluetooth was an option in 2004, I think it became standard on the VDP in 2006.

It's not standard on the VDP in 2006 either. I think it was in 2007 when it became standard.

You need to have the "PSE" module installed. I think the PSE module and all of the cabling/microphone is about $500-600 for the kit, and can be installed in a couple hours yourself. Or you can have the dealer install it for another $1000.

I'm pretty sure this can be done, but I don't think the sound quality through Bluetooth is that great. The phone system is really meant only for phone calls. You may want to try an aftermarket solution.

Since you have rear entertainment package, why not just run it through there? Won't cost you more than a cable. There is also an FMRDS thread in lieu of the Jag ACM:

Where did you find a cable? I'm guessing it has the RCA jacks on one end and the iPhone connector on the other?

just go to radio shack. its rca on one end and headphone jack on the other... this works like a charm plugged into either aux1 or aux2 and the sound is amazing.. loud and crisp!!!

Guys,
I strongly recommend:
Griffin GC17090 AUX Cable with Handsfree Microphone
and
Steren - Audio coupler - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (F) - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (F) - black
These two items cost me about $15.
I was looking for a Bluetooth solution but this is much better. Now I have my mp3s, satellite radio thru app, and my hands free for a few Dollars. Having the rear entertainment was a blessing for me.
