Call it what you will. I had a close friend killed by someone traveling in excess of 100 mph. I cannot stand idly by and see folks boast about doing the same. they should thank God they didn't kill someone. The Corvette site I frequent does not allow this kind of thread for good reason.

 

I believe we all would sympathize with the loss of your close friend. Very sorry that happened.

You've gone a little overboard here. There are a bunch of Corvette owners (I've seen this personally) whose ***** shrinks when they see an XKR and they try and race. I've blown one away myself.

Perhaps you would be more comfortable on the more docile Corvette board. You've voiced your opinion on how you feel others should drive. If you want others to listen to you you will have to find a more convincing way to influence people.

Whatever, anyone may think, this thread happens to be quite unusual here and certainly not run of the mill.

Unlike some forums we don't over - moderate here ( although some may differ ) and generally let things take their course, to a point.

That point, due to certain comments causing disagreement that needn't have been there, has been reached
