With 140,000 miles on the car I just bought, I thought that I would collect some spares like coolant hoses and belts. Parts house asked if the car had a changed supercharger pulley and belt tensioner as cars with that upgrade use a different belt.

The belt in my car has grooves on both sides as seen in the photos. I was not able to find the part number on the tensioner, but the tensioner is also grooved.

I have attached a few photos. The belt is in good condition with no cracks, so I am thinking it is fairly new.

Is this stock?

 

The early ones had a single sided belt, but this was changed to a double sided to reduce squeal. Might be C2C37063

Up grade kit from jag the belt come in a kit with new tensioner and idler to stop the squealing on first start up

 

When I had the squeak, I changed to gator Diamond back and never had issues since

 

The part number for the double sided belt is C2C37055.

 

Hi, thanx for the info. Do you know if that belt will fit a x308 with a ribbed idler pulley ?
