Default driver window goes down when press "up"

My driver's side window has had this annoying issue since I got the car. Most of the time the window works fine, but one out of every 10 times I'll hit the auto-up on the driver's window and it will auto-down.

First I thought it was the switch wearing out, but recently I use the door lock to close all windows and it did the same thing. The 3 other windows went up and the driver's window went down. Stopped it and relocked, the driver's window went up.

I remember reading about this issue somewhere on the forum, but can't find a search term to locate that thread. Is this a switch issue, or the door module?

Thanks,
-Michael

We get funnies with this car.

Have you tried "teaching" it again ie pull up and hold switch up for 3/4 secs?

I bet the window is sensing an obstruction, so it is programmed to open back up...in case it's a kid's head stuck in it.

Second this. Could be an actual physical obstruction somewhere inside the door or could be the motor going out. Very roughly....there's a sensor that measures the amount of power needed to push the window up and reverses if that limit is exceeded. If the motor is worn, it will draw excess power that could trip that sensor into 'thinking' there's an obstruction.
