ECU Programing HELP
I have a 2004 XJ8 that I accidentally fried the rear ecu trying to install a rear camera. I purchased a used one from ebay and currently am looking for someone in the Tampa Bay area of Florida that can program it to my car. I took it to a shop called European Performance in St. Pete, and they fried the ECU that I purchased thru ebay. I went ahead and bought another one and currently hoping that I can find a person that knows what they are doing and get my car running again.

I have replaced my rear electronics control module before , with an eBay one and no programming was needed , it was plug & play !

I did just that. Purchased one with matching numbers and the car cranks, but won’t start. I was told the key inmobilizer is programed to the rear ECU and needs vehicle reprogramming.
