Engine stumbles at startup and then goes away
Hello Jaguar friends. My 2005 XJ8L will have a consistent (every ~ 5 seconds) slight engine stumble at startup and while driving until the engine warms up and then it disappears. Performance isn’t affected, it runs fine - just a slight and quick stumble while the engine is cold. I do not have any engine data or the ability to collect that data at this time. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you.
I had the same problem. My wife and I were out driving around last weekend in the VDP. We stopped for awhile to go into some store. When we came back, maybe 30 minutes or so, the car kind of loped along or stumble after start up. After reving the engine and a couple of minute everything was back to normal. I thought myabe it was bad gas. Any thoughts would be very helpful.
