I have a 2005 xj8l that has been wrecked on the right side. Front door, rear door and right rear quarter panel. I'm in Raleigh NC and most of the body shops around say sense the body is aluminum you would need to cut the rear panel off and weld it back in which they are saying they don't have the right equipment to do the job. Engine and transmission have less than 50k on them. I would love to either find another body in good condition of take the power train and put into another vehicle. The question is what vehicle works be best for the swap or if anyone knows where I can find a body in good condition.

Yap. Alu body repair means a different story, it is not about welding, so that even small structural damage often means scrapping beacause of costs. The X350 engine swapping is rather simple, You disconnect all media steering and exhaust entire engine with trans go down, then a new one goes up. The same as allways with V engine built in longside.
