Extra engine noise when turning right
2005 RHD XJR. Bizarre question but I can hear/feel the engine significantly more when turning right from a intersection or roundabout.
Can't find any exhaust leaks, nothing is touching the body, subframe and engine mounts look good, wheel bearings are all fine.
Have only had the car 3 weeks and while most of its problems were super easy to fix (dead door speakers, stuck rear blind, dodgy tyres) this has got me stumped.

Noise?
Can you describe the noise and level?
XJR are hard on motor and transmission mounts. There are numerous posts on these failing on NA models too.
To visually check, put in drive with foot hard on brake pedal. Gently increase rpm to see lift on engine. A broken mount will be obvious. The transmission is harder to check. Put on lift and pry on tail shaft to check vertical movement.
Suspect many x350 XJR have broken mounts. Especially the transmission. Too hard to diagnose.

I've had a prybar on the transmission mount and it looks good. With the engine loaded in drive, the motor mounts have a normal amount of flex. I cant see any evidence of an exhaust leak and the noise isn't right for that.
I did manage to capture it on camera but its so minor you're going to need headphones for this one. Noise starts at 12seconds.
