Question Facelift vs none face same headlight light?

Hey guys.

Quick questions, as I'm new I don't know too much about jaguars.

What the difference between the 350 and 358.

bumpers, front and back, grill, wings, door trim? Is that all?

Do the heahlights have the same part#? Also, can someone tell me where I can source a headlight (drivers) for an '08? Jag wants 1300 CAD. I was like WTF did i get myself into! I saw one on ebay for 300 at one point but that was before the car arrived and I could verify I needed a new headlight. Looked damaged in the pic but I thought i could super glue it... not in this case .

Please and thanks.

Should be same light but I did read once that someone put a newer hid on an older car and the self levelling wouldn't talk to the suspension or something.

Hmm, thanks James, that's good to know. Hopefully someone can chime in and clear that up. If that is true, finding an 358 '08-'09 light will be even harder....

The older X350s uses a different ballast (LAD5G), the headlamp leveler uses the ballast to function. At some point, Jaguar switched ballast (LAD5GL), need to do a little research to find out when. Refer to the 2004 Electrical Guide for info on the leveler/ballast.

Thank you Reyesl!!! I'll try and locate the appropriate light with the correct ballast.

Glad I asked that question.

Everyone on jaguarforums is kick ***.
