after a year of debating and waiting i finally purchased a jag. i bought a used 06 xj vanden plas. nice car runs smooth, no leaks supple leather. only things i noticed is that the parking aid is currently not working. was when i test drove it. oh well. will check it out tomorrow at work.

I got a great deal on it( so it seams). I'm a rover tech at a jag/rover dealer and ive had my eye on a CFO for a year and a half already. Finally stepped up

 

Jaguar is a strange breed of cat, but well worth the "low leash price". It looks wonderful, drives like a dream, and garners compliments wherever it is found. Curled up in a garage or lounging on the street, the Jaguar, in all its iterations, is a different breed and a cut above the average "bubble car". that most Americans drive.

 

Congratulations on your new to you Jaguar, they are a lot like a drug addiction.
They seem to get lonely, theres two in my garage, along with my four motorcycles.

There's a switch on the overhead to turn off the parking aid. Could it be that simple?
