Default First-time DIYer - change lightbulb

Hello can someone help out this rookie DIYer on how to change a lightbulb and/or check the fuse? How easy is it to remove the plastic to access the bulb, or do I need to change out the whole thing?

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Bulbs are separate items. You have to access the back of the lighting housing where there are two covers held in place by wire clips top and bottom of each cover.

If you have skinny hands you can take the appropriate cover off and access the bulb which is held in place by a wire clip.

If your hands are too big then you need to take the front bumper off and take the headlite assembly out for much easier access.

Quite a few write ups in here on this.

On my car fuse F8 is left hand dipped,F9 rhs dipped. F16 lh main beam and rh main beam. Engine compartment fuse box.

Those are what I call "running" lights. I replaced mine with leds however I got one tube stuck in the wrong position putting it back in.

Thats when I bit the bullet and took off my front bumper which was actually a lot easier than I thought once someone on here told me how to get the grill tabs released.

Do not damage the lighting assembly as they are extremely expensive even used!

I replaced both the high beam and running lights, for the running lights I went with a bluer looking LED bulb to match the HID headlamp. Installation is a little tight, but easy. I only needed to pull off the top cover to fit my hands behind the light compartment. Inserting the new bulbs is blind, so you'll need to feel your way around when inserting them in.
