As the title would suggest, I have solved all of my issues with the Jag including the continuous air strut problem. How did I do it you ask? Sold it to another bloke and bought another late model Volvo XC70. Happy days. I enjoyed driving it while I had it, but it was a constant source of anxiety for some reason. It has gone to a country home to be garaged and driven on open roads where it belongs. Thanks to everyone's support and great posts. This forum helped me considerably and I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. It hasn't put me off Jaguars. If anything it has planted a seed that at some stage in the future may germinate and put that sh*t eating grin back on my face as I slide in behind the wheel. In the Volvo I'm sedate and responsible. In the Jag I was a bloody hooligan and a danger to myself and others . I'm glad my son had some of his 1st driving lessons in it too. He's now driven the Merc, the Jag, 2 kinds of Volvo and I'm about to buy him a VW Golf manual shift which he's pretty stoked about. Funny how things have a way of working themselves out. Cheers.
