Gauge Cluster Area Rattle / Buzz when accelerating?
Hi All,
I have started to notice a buzz / rattle coming from my drivers area only when accelerating (around 1200-2000 rpm, then goes away). I am not sure if one of the small gears in the speedo could be causing this because of lack of lubrication or another common part right below the dash could be rattling. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks.

I had to remove my gauge cluster, and it is mounted with small rubber cushions that sit in slots. It is very easy for these to drop out of place. Perhaps your previous owner lost some of these, and the gauge cluster is vibrating against its mountings as you accelerate? Sorry for the English spelling, we are UK-centric here in NZ.
