Does anyone know with certainty if a 2006 XJ8 can be programmed to do a global window close from the remote? Mine will open all the windows from the remote and will open or close them using the key in the driver's door. I had a new key and the mirror dip programmed at the dealer recently and I swear prior to that, I could open OR close the windows with the remote. The dealer says there isn't a programming option for global close from the remote (maybe a safety feature?). I like to keep the windows open during hot Texas summers and the car is parked 25 feet outside my office window, so if a thunderstorm pops up, I would like to be able to simply hold the 'lock' button on the remote and close the windows. Thanks.
