so my 05 xj8l had halogen lights that the previous owner smashed . my donor car has hid lights that I'm going to install . if i simply plug in headlights they light . I'm wondering what I'm loosing by not installing the 3 missing signals to headlights . i have the knowhow to wire the 3 missing circuits but haven't yet gotten the required ssd system to configure car to hid lights. from what i have read the replacement ballast do away with the leveling system anyway causing air ride codes until you configure car to halogen lights .
