I posted recently on my flickering headlights, which culminated in a 1/2 second total blackout on a country road.

Well, its now over 3 weeks since the lighting column switch was replaced, and as it's dark here from around 4.30 pm the headlights have been in use every day. So far, no problems at all, steady lights, AUTO working properly etc. Switch had very clearly been interfered with by somebody when I examined it, so the problem was probably there when I bought the car.

I hope I'm not tempting Providence too much with this post !

 

Nah, I would've wagered my breakfast that was the problem with yours. You just didn't have the same confidence me and others did.

Don't give it a second thought now, instead try to find out how to get the seat heaters to go warmer!
