I am trying to help my friend get in their 2017 jaguar f type R. The battery was dead so we took it out to have it checked. She shut the trunk lid so now it has no battery in it. since the battery cable is laying in the trunk with no battery i assume it will not work to put a charger on the posts in the engine area. I do not see a slot to put the emergency key by the light. Any advice would be extremely welcomed!

 

No opening for the key to open the trunk, on your Jaguar?
