help window rolls down by itself

Default help window rolls down by itself

i have an 04 ---when i operate the rear passenger window from the drivers master switch it rolls down -even with switck held up --i even put in a spare switch with the same result----------window works as normal from its switch---any suggestions ???????-------thanks

still can not figure this out ----have spare parts --replace drivers master switch /door control modual /even switched passenger front and rear switches --------still window rolls down only when using drivers door switch -----------can anybody help --thank you in advance

I have the same problem with my front passneger window. Now that is aggravating!

In looking at the wiring diagram, the window switches for each window on the drivers door pack and the individual doors are tied together, which means that the wiring for the up switch position on the drivers door switch may be broken or have a bad connection between the drivers door and where it ties to the individual door switch.. Now a matter of tracking it down, yea!

I decided the switch is probably bad, so I ordered a new used one.

Well, I was wrong! I replaced the switch, the window still goes down only with the drivers switch, no matter which way you move the switch! Tracking wiring is the next trick. Could be a broken wire where the door wiring bends.

talked to a private garage here in atlanta --they only work on jags and rovers --------said the computers --plural need to be reflashed --since is a hail damage car with salvage title im waiting --3 weeks now for the state to come look at it ---then i will take to them
