with hot engine shifting from N to D has push and click
Hi ,
I have xj8 model 2003 , recently when technicians change my A clutch drum and its disks , now , when engine is cold there is nothing , but when engine become hot with normal temp , shifting from N to D comes with some push with no smooth starting .... and clicks some times become knock during this push , please , any professional could show me where is the problem and what to repair or parts should change ?

Is your car made of steel or aluminium, as 2003 was the first year the X350 aluminium cars came on sale.I would not have thought the Lebanon got them that year.
Normally with work on an autogearbox with an electronic control it may be necessary to reprogram the Transmission Control Module to reset some pressure values. I'm no an expert, though so wait around to see what the others say, unless your car is the previous model when you should repost in the X308 forum
