Seriously get yourself a copy of JTIS and you can estimate the job yourself.

They can take an engine out in less than 10 hours these days?

 

can i get a tech to reply, apparently they have to drop the whole rear end and suspension?

It is a big job, I was told that the canister is one of the first things that is attached to the body. Therefore the back axle has to be taken out to replace it. $150 part,$1000 labour.

 

This is a 3.9 hr warranty allowance and a 5.5 hr standard job according to Alldata. It involves dropping the rear subframe. Not an easy home job, it reqires a transmission jack to hold the rear end so it doesn't break your arm.
