Default Hurricane Sandy

Sorry to say I will not be on much for a while, the hurricane took out my house but on a lighter note my Jag didn't suffer a scratch. The houses in the back ground of my picture are mostly gone.

My family are all safe so we count our blessings.

Hope to be back again soon.

Wow that's amazing!

If it was my house I would be devastated!

Glad you, your family and Jag are OK.

Hope you were insured.

I'm very glad to hear you and your family survived this terrible event. We complain about the weather here in England a lot, but really, we have nothing to complain about compared to your US weather.

Also very glad your car is OK. Hope your insurance will cover your losses.

Barry,

Dreadful news but pleased to hear you and your family are OK.

Amazed you can even start to think of a lighter note. Hope your insurance covers the loss and they don't delay with handling the claim.

Good luck and best wishes.

Graham

Meirion,Fraiser,GGG, thank you for your wishes, i get on when i get to my parents. My self and my family are very lucky to have geat friends and your comments make this so much easier to take. The hard part is not having a home to come home to.

I am lucky to be well insured and all will be replaced but many of my New Jersey neighbors are not so lucky so please $10.00 to the Red Cross will go along way.

So on a light note, I may not have a home but I still have one of the greatest cars in the world to drive.

Thanks all and please donate to the Red Cross.

I'm glad your safe, planned ahead well and saved what you could. I've heard from several people up there, some are dealing with very minor, if any loss, others are left with nothing. We know you'll be busy with either a relocation, or building your new and improved home. Make the garage really nice!

Matt, I live just minutes from Mantoloking, the hardest hit area. The picture that was all over the news of the Mantoloking bridge where the ocean washed thru, if you look at the other end of the bridge you will see the marina I use to manage.

Great minds think alike, I already have the new garage all planned out, now to plan the reconstruction of the house.

Don't admit this to the wife, however. That's just how we think.
