iCarsoft LV v2.0 gizmo
Hi Folks,
Just had a chance to hook up the 'gizmo' to the car and of course on a 2006VDP, there would be historical and current faults.I am asking your advice whether I should attempt to 'clear all' the faults using the gizmo or disconnect the negative wire of the battery, touch the negative to the positive to 'drain' any residual charge in the system or what?
Thank you

Best to use the iCarsoft. No harm will be done, and any faults still on the car will soon generate their own codes. In fact, I believe many shops, having read the codes, purge them off,
