Default Ignition

Ok, the car in question is a 2004 XJR. I had to replace the ignition switch; put a whole new assembly in. My shop can't get the keys to program to the car. They have been cut for the cylinder and turn just fine, but car will not take the programming. They are a great independent jaguar shop and usually know what they are doing. Any advice??

I think the switch itself is just a mechanical thing. Maybe they left off or wrongly connected a wire or have upset the module(s). The wire looks likely...
