They do if they can be adapted. Which is why I asked.

I'll try not to trigger you again. How old does a thread have to be to set you off?

Welcome back, after several weeks.

My response wasn't about raising a long-dead thread specifically, it was about raising a long-dead thread with something that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE THREAD'S TOPIC.

Now you say they ARE on-topic, because they maybe could be adapted as hood badges. That's not exactly an obvious thought, and you made no mention of doing so in your post; you simply asked about wheel-centers. Had you actually asked something like, "Hey, has anyone tried adapting these to hood badges?" you would have had a relevant question, so I hope you can see my point that asking about them without trying to relate them to the thread made it look like you were spamming out of left field. You may have had that link in your mind, and it may even have seemed obvious to you, but you didn't put it in your post so the post was wildly off-topic, which is inappropriate, especially in a thread dead for 12 years.
