So the lower intake manifold gaskets need to be redone on our 05 xj8L 4.2 NA but they gave us the ones for the 3.9L. Will that work on our car ?

 

Not sure if they will or not, but while the manifold is off.
I would replace the 8 internal gaskets

Regarding original question: I used Manifold Gaskets part number AJ89062. To make sure I'm referring to talking about the relevant parts - these are thin steel gaskets that clip on the bottom of the intake manifold and seal the areas where the blue tape is shown.
