I'm wondering if there have been any issues connecting an iPhone 6 to the factory installed bluetooth? I'm considering installing it, but I'm worried about compatibility issues, present and future. I'd hate to spend close to $400 to install this, then have it be outdated in a year or two. Any thoughts or insight?

 

Well, there's no telling what the future will bring but as of now, every new version of bluetooth has been backward compatible.

 

I have had no issue with factory installed tele Bluetooth and iPhone 5s and 6 plus.
