Does someone have a picture of where to put a floor jack under 2004 XJ8? I would like to pull off the wheels and wasn't sure where to jack the car from...

 

This car has micro sizedjackpoints! Right behind each little bulge in the rocker panel seam where the jack in the trunk fits, there is a bare metal area, jack there. If you have a special jack with a sort of nubby phallus on it, it fits in a hole in this metal area. I think the shops use this special fitting to keep the car on the derned lift. Look out in the rear, if you miss the jack point even a little, the jack will bend the lower sheet metal radius arm for the rear suspension, and you might be crabbing sideways from then on. I could bend these things over my knee! Reminds me of the arms on my Lotus Europa. I think this was just a little too light for practicality, they are going to get bent sooner than later.
