Jaguar 2004 Vanden Plas

I recently purchased 2004 Vanden Plas driving in the rain for first time multiple waning lights and messages went off. I stopped car immediately turned engine off did visual check nothing noticeable. restarted car and proceeded home everything now showing normal.

any suggestions on cause or problem?

I am betting it is that loose pin in the kick panel. LOL.....it could just be the dsc flashing while wheels slip.

The messages that I remember were DSC control, Engine malfunction,ABS possibly more.
I previously had a 1999 Jag XJ so I am familiar with the warning lights but I have never seen so many at once It looked like Xmas.
By the way I have owned Jaguars for over 5 years first time joing Forum and I am extremely impressed with the help you can receive.

What do you mean by loose pin in kick pannel?

2004 XJ had a loose pin in a connector in the right front kick panel. I dont remeber off hand which one. Not saying thatis problem.

I drove my XJ in the rain for the first time the other day. I'm a rather agressive driver in the turns and I can say I did put the DSC through a work out.... [8D]
